Rachel & The JellyCats are seeking HORN PLAYERS. (Trumpet / Saxophone / Trombone / other horns) Our influences / styles fluctuate between: Vintage-inspired pop and R&B aesthetically pleasing 'burlesque' soul. Similar or comparable bands are: Post Modern Jukebox, Lake Street Dive, Clairy Brown & The Bangin' Rackettes, Sam Cooke, Ella Fitzgerald, Pomplamoose, Charles Bradley, Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, Amy Winehouse, Adele, Nina Simone, Bill Withers, Marvin Gaye, Etta James Brown, etc., etc., etc. We do a steady mixture of covers & originals. You must be dedicated, committed, friendly, willing to add to the conversation and talent, have good equipment and transportation, with the ability to practice once a week (normally on Thursdays) and willing to gig out on a regular basis (mostly weekends).
