Professional Horse Training and Breeding Farm located between Smithville and Liberty is looking for a full time Horse Groom/Caretaker. We offer a good work environment. Work week is 5 1/2 days. Monday- Friday 7:30am-5pm with an hour for lunch. Saturdays from 7:30-12pm. Duties include but are not limited to: feeding, watering, stall cleaning, grooming and caring for horses and all aspects of daily farm life. It is a job that requires daily manual labor. Must be able to travel to horse shows for 1 week at a time from April- November. Employee MUST have horse care experience at a horse boarding or training facility- NO EXCEPTIONS Must be willing and able to routinely lift 50 pounds unassisted, be on time, able to work well with others or alone and dependable. *Must be drug free and legal to work in the US. *Must have a valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
