Have You Wondered How to Make Candles? Come Learn With Good Things Designs on Jan. 30 @ 2 p.m. at Curate Mercantile in Centennial, Colorado The Art of Candle-Making Gather together with us to learn the art of candle-making with Grace of Good Things Designs on Saturday, January 30th at 2 p.m. in our Curate Mercantile creative workshop space. Grace will teach you the basics of candle making with natural soy wax and essential oils. You are highly encouraged to sign-up as soon as possible since space is limited. During this workshop, you will go through the entire process of melting wax, mixing essential oils (you get to choose the scents) and pouring the wax to dry. All attendees will get to take home a pouring pot, wood wicks, an instructional handout and their own handmade candle to enjoy! Scent options includes lavender, grapefruit, ylang ylang, pine needles and lemon grass which you can sample during the workshop. Attendees will be socially distanced and facemasks are required. The Art of Candle-Making is limited to six attendees. Date: Saturday, January 30th from 2 - 3:30 p.m. Price and Materials: $60 each includes all materials needed to make one candle, a pouring pot, wicks and instructions to take home as well. About Your Instructor: Grace Stailey of Good Things Designs was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. With an aspiration to do something good and a passion for creativity and art, she decided to pursue business as an artist. She truly believes that talents and passions in the realm of art are more than just a hobby. Her goal is to create something good in this life that is sustainable and brings joy to those around her. Grace's enthusiasm is contagious and you will enjoy this memorable experience learning alongside her! Cancellation Policy: Curate Mercantile workshops are built around solopreneurs, makers and small business owners. We are committed to offering you an amazing and fun experience, so we need your help to make our community work. Most events must meet an established minimum set by the workshop host to move forward. If the minimum is not met 72 hours in advance of the event start time, the event will be automatically canceled and all registered guests will be refunded to their original form of payment.
