WHAT IS COVER THE CITY? Cover the City is our mobile effort to cover Baytown in prayer, as a community! Whether you choose to walk one mile WHAT IS COVER THE CITY? Cover the City is our mobile effort to cover Baytown in prayer, as a community! Whether you choose to walk one mile or all forty, join with us! WHAT TO EXPECT While the course does cover 40 miles, please remember that our goal is to cover the City of Baytown in prayer collectively. You are not expected to walk all 40 miles.  Cover the City is designed for you to walk as much or little as you are able.  There will be support tents every 5 miles of the course, with refreshments, first aid, and friendly volunteers ready to assist you or take you back to the walk start, if needed. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to make it to one of our support tents, we will provide you with a phone number to one of our volunteer shuttles. One of our volunteers will pick you up and take you back to the walk start.  Whether you are able to walk 1 mile or all 40, you will be a part of bringing the power of prayer to our city! SCHEDULE  5:30AM | Gates open & Check-In Location: Living Hope Church parking lot (7611 Hwy. 146, Baytown, TX. 77523) At this time you will be able to check in  6:00AM - 6:45AM | Breakfast & Walk Preparation Location: Living Hope Church parking lot Breakfast: At this time we will provide breakfast items such as, fruit, yogurt, breakfast bars, coffee, and water. Walk Prep: We will also use this time to prepare for the walk by applying sunscreen, stretching, etc. 6:45AM - 7:00AM | Opening Prayer Location: Living Hope Church parking lot At this time we will come together in prayer before we set off on our walk. 7:00AM | Walk Begins Start/Finish is at Living Hope Church. 7611 Hwy. 146, Baytown, TX. 77523. 8:00PM – 9:00PM | Closing Celebration Location: Living Hope Church At this time, we will come together as a community, and celebrate all that God has done and will do with our prayers over the City of Baytown!
