Press release from the Newton South High School PTSO: January 15, 2021 The basketball sub-varsity teams started their intra squad games last week. The girls played at CC winning their first contest with Ms. Hoffman and Mr. Allen as co-head coaches. The Boys 9th-grade team had a very strong home game vs Concord Carlisle last Saturday. Both teams will play vs Waltham. Joining them will be the boy's JV team playing their first game of the season at Waltham. The Boys JV hockey team opened their season vs Concord Carlisle last Sunday under the guidance of first year coaches Jeff Pike and Alex Klapes.
