​ATV, Dirt Bikers In Custody After Causeway Closed: Report​

MIAMI BEACH, FL — Miami Beach police temporarily shut down MacArthur Causeway in both directions Saturday night as they searched for a possibly armed person, leading to the arrest of four and the seizure of six dirt bikes and ATVs, WPLG reported. When police tried to stop a group of ATV and dirt bike riders, two abandoned their vehicles and fled, reports said. Police thought one of the men could be armed and they shut down the causeway around 7:30 p.m. as they searched for the suspect. Four of the drivers were taken into custody and all six vehicles were seized, reports said. The causeway reopened around 9:20 p.m. UPDATE: The MacArthur Causeway is now open.
