BEL AIR, MD — Town of Bel Air government offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Trash that is normally collected Monday will instead be picked up Wednesday, Jan. 20. Yard waste pickup Monday is canceled. For those whose trash is normally collected Tuesday, curbside collection will continue as usual. Bulk collection is canceled Wednesday in the town of Bel Air. Those with questions about the holiday collection schedule may call the Bel Air Department of Public Works at 410-638-4536. The Harford Waste Disposal Center and Tollgate Yard trim drop-off facility will be closed Monday. Harford County government offices and courts will be closed Monday. Harford County Public Schools and offices will be closed as well. Harford Community College is closed Monday. Harford Mall is open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday. While library buildings remain closed to the public due to the coronavirus, all Harford County Public Library locations not operate Monday, Jan. 18, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Post offices will be closed Monday. The Penn, Camden and Brunswick lines will be out of service Sunday, Jan. 17, through Wednesday, Jan. 20, the MTA announced Friday. Although government offices are closed, private companies may conduct coronavirus testing.
