Press release from South Washington County Schools: January 14, 2021 The guidelines defined below are in strict accordance with the COVID-19 policies established by the Minnesota Department of Health, Minnesota State High School League and the Suburban East Conference (SEC). If spectators do not follow guidelines for their sporting event, they will be asked to leave. Boys and Girls Alpine Ski Guidelines No spectators allowed at this time per event facility protocol Boys and Girls Nordic Ski Guidelines To be determined by the host community venue Boys Swim and Dive Guidelines No spectators allowed due to capacity restrictions Gymnastics Guidelines No spectators allowed due to capacity restrictions Dance Guidelines One family member per athlete will be allowed to spectate (with the purchase of a SEC dance pass) To spectate events, family members can purchase a SEC dance pass for $25 at the activities office The pass must be presented at event check-in Spectators can only be in the gym during their school's performance. Spectators will be cleared from the gym when their school is not competing Face coverings are required at all times and seating is expected to be six feet apart Wrestling Guidelines Two family members per athlete listed on the official roster will be allowed to spectate (with ticket purchases) Spectators must check-in at the gym entrance for their athlete Tickets will be sold on-site for $5, the ticket will be good for both matches that day Spectators can only be in the gym during their school's wrestling event. Spectators will be cleared from the gym when their school is not competing Face coverings are required at all times and seating is expected to be six feet apart unless you are sitting with a family member Boys and Girls Basketball Guidelines Two family members per athlete listed on the official roster will be allowed to spectate at 9th grade, B squad, junior varsity (JV) and varsity games (9th grade and B squad admission is free, JV and varsity games require ticket purchases) Spectators for 9th grade and B squad teams are allowed at home games (no spectating at away 9th grade and B squad games) Each JV and varsity athlete will be allowed to purchase two spectator passes online through our fee payment site for $100. Passes are for family members only (passes can't given to students) The pass is good for home and away games, you must present your pass when checking in at the game Face coverings are required at all times and seating is expected to be six feet apart unless you are with a family member Boys and Girls Hockey Guidelines Two family members per athlete listed on the official roster will be allowed to spectate (with the purchase of a spectator pass) Each athlete will be allowed to purchase two spectator passes online through our fee payment site for $100.
