My dog of 11 years recently passed away and I am now on the search for a new companion. We live in an apartment so definitely don't want to get a dog who will be miserable here. They will have access to a dog door to the safely enclosed patio with a doggie lawn for their needs while we are gone. We are fairly active and love to hike and go on adventures and are dying to have a dog that would enjoy the dog park. I am also looking for a cuddler. I am looking at looking at shelters and would prefer to adopt. It seems harder to adopt while you live in apartment but if anyone had recommendations I'd love that as well.
