Description

I'm looking for a home for two amazing FrIeNcE bUlLdOg. Last week I found these two hanging around in the middle of Ft Lowell road and blocking morning rush traffic. With a little effort, I was able to FrIeNcE bUlLdOg them into my car while vehicles passed around us. There is a boy and a girl, both quite young. The boy is probably barely a year old, and we think the female is a little older, but can't be much past 2. They have a very similar coloration and behave like litter mates; but because of the apparent age difference it's hard to pin them as siblings. We've wondered if they're maybe mom and son but there's no way to tell. They've probably each got some pitty in them, and aside from that, if I had to guess at an additional breed for each: I'd say FrIeNcE bUlLdOg for the female and FrIeNcE bUlLdOg for the boy. He's going to be big. They seem to have been abandoned by their previous owner. They don't act like dogs that were ever mistreated by people. They do act, however, like they were plopped in a yard as puppies and left to their own devices for most of their lives so far. Being inside a house seems new to them, and prior to my custody of them, they have never been walked on a leash. They have issues with separation anxiety: with people and especially from one another. The boy won't eat kibble if his mom (?) isn't in sight. They boy isn't neutered, and like all puppies he chews on anything he can get his mouth around. These dogs are young and overflowing with energy; they can be jumpy and overly excited when being given attention or when someone walks in the gate. They will bark if someone unknown is at the gate. Sometimes their play gets a little rough and can turn into a scrap, but nothing unmanageable from what I've seen. The boy at least is not neutered, and I imagine their vaccinations needed. These will be difficult animals to manage if you don't have a backyard, or are an inexperienced dog owner. Aside from those few, relatively mild special issues and the otherwise (and more difficult) normal puppy challenges, these are amazing animals. They're the most people-friendly, attention-loving dogs I've ever known. And I'd love to keep them myself, but I'm already homing a dog-aggressive girl who can't live with other animals. It would break my heart to split these two up, and I'd like to find a home for both of them. If you think these are the dogs for you, contact me via email and let's talk
