This person seems real but when asked to meet up they are a no show. Original asking price was $1200 then they said they had someone offer them $1300. When I said I’d pay $1300 as well, they set up a time to meet at a Dunkin Donuts near their address and never showed. Then they said they already sold the bird after they didn’t show up for our meeting. Then they changed the price to $300 and said that no one had called them which is a lie because I’ve contacted him through 2 different numbers to see if he was legit. My family paid a $50 fee to take out an advance to pay for the bird and we got the set up all ready since he said we’d be able to pick her up the next morning then said he sold her. It was the most frustrating experience that has wasted both our time and money and broke my family’s heart. He has removed the original post months ago and we have since adopted an African Grey from someone else in April 2020. Now he’s reposted with the same pictures asking $3000. I’m not sure what his motive is other than purposely upsetting and leading people on.
