He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from the US Merchant Marine Academy. Pat was commissioned as an Ensign in the USNR and sailed in the US Merchant Marine Fleet for 7 years traveling the world. He now lives in Neptune Beach with his wife Jane, and daughters Nora and Molly.
