Raku firings will be back every first and third Saturday of the month starting January 2021! Reserve your spot! Raku firings will be back every first and third Saturday of the month in 2021! We’re excited for continuous Raku adventures and a time to rejoice the spontaneous results that come from a community gathering and a well deserved first firing on January 16th, 2021! Here’s a brief on what to expect at a Raku firing: We start at 10 A.M and fire until all the pieces are done. The cut off time to glaze is at 12PM, be sure to get here on time! Glazes for self-application are provided, and our extremely knowledgeable Raku facilitator Eric will be present to fire and answer any questions. There is a limit of 4 small to medium sized bisqued vessels. Early arrival is encouraged to ensure your pieces have the best chance to get fired! If you have additional pieces to fire, they cost $10 each and you can pay on arrival. Private sessions are also available, please contact us for details and pricing.
