Currently forming an original band & looking for a lead singer that also plays acoustic guitar on almost a full time basis. Currently, this is a 3 piece band in the initial stages and due to COVID19, we are slowly doing this. We are file sharing, working on Zoom and lots of texting. Currently, we have a lead guitarist, bassist and drums and our ages range 47-52. Our roots are rock & roll, blues, roots rock and Americana. Think Petty, Springsteen, Dylan, CSN & Y, Wilco, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, JJ Grey & Mofro, Gov't Mule and others in that style. We all lean left of center and prefer that someone be like that as well to avoid the extremism and drama that can destroy a band. Male or female is perfectly fine, but the need for this person to be both a lead singer and a strong acoustic guitarist to handle the rhythm work. We are cool with some electric guitar if the song sounds better with it. Keys are something that we are seeking, and because this will feature original tunes, we want someone willing to be a part of something from the ground up.
