Description

Coterel Institute of Firearms Instruction is hosting this event to help those who have concerns & questions about their 2nd Amendment Rights Rob & Beth Coterel, owners and instructors of Coterel Institute of Firearms Instruction located at 15 Cincinnati Avenue in Lebanon OH, are hosting this seminar to help those who want to know more on how to protect themselves, their families and others while maintaining their rights under the United States Constitution’s 2nd Amendment. We provide various firearms educational classes and wanted to provide some advice from others who will be able to help us support and defend those rights. As Responsibly Armed Americans we are going to have a lot of work to do in order to protect our rights under the 2nd Amendment and getting firsthand knowledge from those who are in positions to help us is the best way that we have found to help our fellow men and women in this fight. This is why we are bringing in; with the help of United States Conceal Carry Association & Delta Defense; speakers with the background to help arm us with knowledge to be able to effectively defend our rights under the Constitution of the United States of America. Attorney's Steve Kilburn & JR Bernans, from Rittgers & Rittgers located in Lebanon, will be focusing on when a person defends themselves from a violent attack and think that they are doing all of the right things; that they are still going to have to prove that what they did was the right thing in a court of law and that they are going to need legal representation to help them determine their innocence. We are also going to look at what the legal aftermath looks like when dealing with defending yourself, what are the risks and costs associated with legal defense of a violent attack when a person determines that a legal use of force was necessary to defend themselves. How does the Reasonable Person standard apply in a self-defense situation in a court of law and how is it going to work alongside Stand Your Ground that goes into effect on April 10, 2021. We will also have Ohio House Representative Jennifer Gross, who was just sworn into office January 5, 2021. She is a retired Lieutenant Colonel with the Air Force, nurse practitioner, wife and mother from West Chester and she will be providing us a brief insight into what is going on in the Ohio House in regard to our 2nd Amendment rights, what issues are on her platform currently as well as a look into what is projected to be brought to the table by her and her constituents to protect and support our 2nd Amendment Rights. Live Question and Answer session will also be provided with both attorney's and Representative Jennifer Gross.
