1/19/21 city meeting to approve David Andersons plan to put 77 car paved parking lot to destroy the Southtown Natural feature.Friends: on 1/19/21 The City of Kalamazoo, Michigan online public commission meeting, the commissioners will vote on awarding a huge tax incentive for Mayor David Andersons nonprofit that will make destroying Southtowns NFP/natural feature, only natural greenspace, natural watershed, and natural wildlife habitat financially lucrative to destroy Southtowns NFP/Natural feature to build his 77 car paved parking lot. Since the city commission meeting is now online on Facebook, I ask everyone to call into the public comment line and object on the Consent Agenda item G. 5 PILOT Resolution for the LIFT Foundation for 10 Properties on Lake Street right at 7 pm as they made all public remarks first to limit calls due by not doing it before each agenda item. We need to ask to postpone the vote until the Southtown Neighborhood Plan is accepted which protects the land between the lake and Stockbridge east of John St from being destroyed to put a 77-car paved parking lot for the benefit of David Anderson's nonprofit, against the unanimous wishes of the Southtown neighborhood residents. I encourage you to email your objection ASAP this weekend to share your request to postpone or not approve the parking lot to AND call in your public comment at the beginning of the 7 pm EST meeting.
