Description

Press release from the Office of the Worcester County District Attorney: January 13, 2021 #TheENDD Teens Helping to Educate about the Effects & Negligence of Drunk Driving Ending the school year safely! Worcester County high schools are invited to apply for mini-grants to support safe, organized after-prom or after-graduation activities for students. These events offer drug- and alcohol-free alternatives to high-risk activities. Grants will be given to schools to support existing events, or to assist schools in establishing a new event. While none of us know what the status of school activities will be in the spring of 2021, we are cautiously optimistic and accepting applications for funding requests. The grants are funded by the Massachusetts Office of Victim Assistance Drunk Driving Trust Fund. The application for funding requests is attached and is due by Feb. 12. Join the District Attorney's Office in educating youth to help end drunk driving. #TheENDD. For more information, contact Ellen Miller: [email protected] or 774-317-2159. This project is supported in part by a FY2020 Drunk Driving Trust Fund – Prevention, Education and Training grant awarded by the Massachusetts Office for Victim Assistance.
