Mission: Through recycling CRV cans and a neighborhood collective effort, raise money to buy children’s books for the community. β™»οΈπŸ“š December marked the start of my #Cans4Books Initiative 😁 Thank you for everyone that supported and donated their recyclables! It warms my soul to see the community rally together to support my initiative 😁 β—οΈβ—οΈπ™Ώπš•πšŽπšŠπšŠπšŽ πš–πšŠπš”πšŽ πšœπšžπš›πšŽ 𝚝𝚘 πš›πšŽπšœπš™πš˜πš—πš 𝚜𝚘 𝙸 πšŒπšŠπš— πš–πšŠπš”πšŽ πšœπšžπš›πšŽ 𝙸 πš‘πšŠπšŸπšŽ πšŽπš—πš˜πšžπšπš‘ πš‹πš˜πš˜πš”πšœ! ❗️❗️ I have hand counted: 3,599 cans (& still counting!) 823 plastic (& still counting!) 251 glass Raising over $200 😁 β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ To kick off this initiative, I will be setting up a Free Book Pick-Up Event on January 30th! πŸ“š β™»οΈπŸ“š while supply lasts, EACH child will have a chance to choose one free book! β€’ β€’ The Village at NTC: alleyway playground in-between Somer and Hornet Time: 11-12pm North Park - Bird Park by the playground Time: 1-2pm Super excited to have Shore Buddies collaborating with our event, please check out their website.
