Mission: Through recycling CRV cans and a neighborhood collective effort, raise money to buy children’s books for the community. ♻️📚 December marked the start of my #Cans4Books Initiative 😁 Thank you for everyone that supported and donated their recyclables! It warms my soul to see the community rally together to support my initiative 😁 ❗️❗️𝙿𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚊𝚎 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚙𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝚜𝚘 𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚖𝚊𝚔𝚎 𝚜𝚞𝚛𝚎 𝙸 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚎𝚗𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑 𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔𝚜! ❗️❗️ I have hand counted: 3,599 cans (& still counting!) 823 plastic (& still counting!) 251 glass Raising over $200 😁 • • • • To kick off this initiative, I will be setting up a Free Book Pick-Up Event on January 30th! 📚 ♻️📚 while supply lasts, EACH child will have a chance to choose one free book! • • The Village at NTC: alleyway playground in-between Somer and Hornet Time: 11-12pm North Park - Bird Park by the playground Time: 1-2pm Super excited to have Shore Buddies collaborating with our event, please check out their website.
