Description

DANVERS, MA — Danvers is shortening its resident coronavirus testing hours on Saturday at Danvers High School due to expected rain. Testing this week will be held from 8 a.m to 10 a.m only. Testing normally runs for four hours. Those who have pre-registered for between 10 a.m. and noon are encouraged to arrive anytime during the 8-10 window. Those being tested are asked to bring their own pen and a proof of residence (a utility bill in case your driver's license does not include a Danvers address). Drive-thru coronavirus testing sites can be compromised during weather events because getting the testing supplies wet can produce false results. Additional Danvers coronavirus testing this month will be Jan. 20 from 3 to 7 p.m., Jan. 27 from 8 a.m. to noon and Jan. 28 from 4 to 7 p.m. More information on Danvers drive-thru coronavirus testing can be found here.
