2 Officers Hurt In North Bellport Crash Involving Police Car

NORTH BELLPORT, NY — Two officers were injured in a car crash in North Bellport Wednesday night, Suffolk police confirmed. The crash occurred on County Route 101, near Harrison Avenue after a Suffolk County Police Department vehicle was involved in a crash with a second car at 9:50 p.m. Two officers were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the second car was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
