Concealed Handgun Class In the NC Concealed Carry Handgun Class, students will receive a training and certificate required to apply for a concealed carry permit at their local Sheriffs office.Course instructional topics include:Legal issues, Handgun safety, Handguns nomenclature, Marksmanship fundamentals, Concealed Handgun Safety, Presentation techniques, Cleaning and maintenance, Ammunition, Proficiency drills.Course Required Equipment includes reliable Self-Defense type handgun and 50 rounds of factory ammunition. Must be in the original factory box or carton. (No reloads) Prohibited Handguns: Derringers , Single action revolvers , .22 & .25 caliber handguns. Guns manufactured by the following: Jennings, Jimenez, Lorcin, Phoenix Arms, Raven Arms, Bryco, David Arms, Cobra, or any other firearm declared to be unsafe. Permit is good for 5 years. Permit can be used to purchase firearms. Reciprocity with approx. 40 states. NOTE: REGISTRATION AND COURSE FEES ARE REQUIRED IN ADVANCE.AT THE DAY OF THE CLASS, PLEASE ARRIVE AT 8:30 AM FOR CLASS CHECK IN.IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND PLEASE CONTACT THE RANGE TO RESCHEDULE. CLASS FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. NO GUNS OR AMMO PERMITTED IN CLASS.
