Hike the Eno River backcountry to explore the highest point in Eno River State Park. Back Country with Ranger Dave Eno River State Park, Fews Ford Access 2:00 pm-5:00pm Go off trail with retired ranger Dave Cook to explore western Cox Mountain and Morgan Hill, the highest point in Eno River State Park. Along the way we will visit the largest Daffodil patch on the state park and if we are timing it right see it in bloom. No official trails reach this western area of Fews Ford Access so we will hike on old roads, power lines, and through open forest. This 5.5 mile hike includes some steep steady uphill and down hill climbs and walking the forest up Redding Creek. 10 person limit and masks will be required where we cannot properly distance. $3 for Association members and children, $5 for everyone else.
