KEY WEST, FL — An intoxicated man was arrested for stealing a tiki hut boat from Cruisin' Tikis in Key West, the Miami Herald reported. Tyln Earl Morland, 26, of Morland, was found drunk and slumped over the wheel of the bring-your-own-booze charter boat Wednesday morning, reports said. The floating tiki hut was stolen from the Hurricane Hole marina on Stock Island. The U.S. Coast Guard initially spotted the stolen board around 8 a.m. Wednesday while patrolling near Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, reports said. Morland faces felony charges of grand theft with damage over $1,000, misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and giving false identification to a law enforcement officer, reports said.
