PALMETTO, FL — A 42-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman were killed in a Palmetto motorcycle crash Thursday night, the Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release. The unnamed male was driving the motorcycle south on U.S. 41, approaching the U.S. 19 interchange, when he lost control on a left curve and collided with a tree around 7:15 p.m., FHP said. Both the driver and passenger were thrown from the motorcycle and declared dead at the scene by Manatee County EMS, FHP said. Like what you're reading?
