Description
The Ferguson Library will hold its major fundraiser, A Novel Affair, Thursday, April 15, 2021 as a virtual event.
A Novel Affair, which celebrates its delayed 10th anniversary this year, is The Ferguson's signature benefit, raising critical funds to help provide library services to the Stamford community. The event will honor former Ferguson Library Trustee Tom Cassone for his longstanding service to the Library and the Stamford community.
Tom Cassone is a partner at the law firm of Meister Seeling & Fein and manages its Connecticut office. He engages in a broad array of trial and appellate litigation on behalf of individual and institutional clients, including commercial and business disputes, land use and zoning and municipal liability. He served as the Director of Legal Affairs for the city of Stamford from 1995 to 2009.
Tom has a long history with The Ferguson Library, serving on its Board of Trustees since 1997, twice as chair. He is also a trustee of The Ferguson Library Foundation. In addition to his involvement with the Library, Tom is a member of the State Street Debating Society and a past member of the Board of Directors of St. Luke's Lifeworks and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.
The event will be free to attend, but donations are welcome. A virtual auction will go live a week before the event. For sponsorship information, please contact Linda Avellar at [email protected] or 203 351-8208.
