Looking for a live in caregiver for 89 year old male with mild dementia/short term memory loss. He enjoys going to the park, playing board games, reading and watching TV. He is social but he also likes his independence so learning when to be there and when to give space will be an important task. He has lost a lot of weight recently so we are looking for someone who can cook healthy meals and who understands the importance of nutrition.
The ideal candidate should be English speaking, responsible, patient, kind, have a good sense of humor, and is comfortable being at home. Must also be non-smoker, no drugs or drug history, be able to pass a full background check, have a car and driver's license with a clean driving record. If selected you must be Covid-19 tested and follow all of the safety protocols.
He lives in San Ramon on the first floor of a two-story condo. The caregiver will have a fully furnished, spacious master bedroom/bathroom with large walk-in closet, internet, cable, utilities and groceries.
