Self Connection through Henna, Acupuncture and Cacao Tea Ceremony The ceremony will include guided Cacao tea ceremony followed by Henna and Acupuncture to seal in the intention and experience. Henna is a ritual, historically, for connection in the community of those that practice it. Through the henna plant, we receive a reddish brown stain on our skin. This stain can be used as a talisman for protection, empowerment, intention and/or inspiration. La Luna Henna works intuitively based on dialog with the receiver of the henna, so each design is unique. Due to the number of attendees and time constraints of this ceremony each design will be about 3 inches in diameter or take about 3-5 minutes per person, while small they will be powerful intention based designs. Auricular acupuncture is extremely effective and gives the person receiving it the ability to move around a bit more than a traditional treatment. If you look at the ear and imagine an upside down fetus inside the womb, you can see that the ear is a microsystem of the whole body. Points in the ear have pathways to the entire body making it an extremely effective therapy. Irin will be circulating the room and giving attendees the NADA protocol. The points in the protocol include: Shen men: translated as spirit gate, this point calms the mind and promotes focus and relaxation. Autonomic: this point resets the autonomic nervous system from fight and flight to rest and digest. Often there is a big sigh after this point is needled! Kidney: this point is directly connected to our vital life force and enhances immunity and longevity. It also promotes detoxification of the body. Liver: this point supports detoxification as well. It’s also a powerful point to release anger and impulsive behavior. Lung: this point helps the body process and release grief. It also promotes lungs function of detoxification.
