Press release from the City of Reno: January 13, 2020 In our ongoing commitment to keep citizens and media informed, we've summarized the outcomes of a few key agenda items from today's Regular Meeting of the Reno City Council: C.2 - Prado Ranch Master Plan Amendment Council unanimously denied a request for a Master Plan and Zoning Map Amendment for the development of the Prado Ranch Planned Unit Development. The proposal would have allowed for the creation of 176 single-family homes, 529 multi-family units, 3.6 million square feet of industrial development and 57,750 square feet of commercial development. The proposed site was located adjacent to Lemmon Drive and near Swan Lake. F.3 - RENOvation Zoning Code Update Council adopted modifications to the code, which include changes and updates to Title 18 requirements. This update began over two years ago, with a community-wide participatory process G.1.1 - Reno Housing Authority Appointment Council reappointed Mark Sullivan.
