Elmhurst Man May Regret Seeking Officer's Help

ELMHURST, IL — An Elmhurst man may have regretted seeking a police officer's help Wednesday. According to a police report, Robert Rodwell, 37, was at St. Charles and Spring roads about 2 a.m. when he flagged down an officer and asked for a ride home. As it turns out, the officer discovered Rodwell had a Cook County arrest warrant, so he was taken to the Cook County Jail, police said. He was not in the jail as of Thursday afternoon.
