Press release from the City of Eden Prairie: January 15, 2021 Martin Luther King, Jr. Words in Action Contest Winners Over the past month, dozens of Eden Prairie youth participated in the City's first-ever Martin Luther King, Jr. Words in Action Contest. Thanks to everyone who participated, honoring and carrying forward the legacy of Dr. King. From a group of 15 entries, the contest committee selected four winning entries. Each of the winning artists will receive a cash prize and be featured in a presentation at the City Council meeting Tuesday, Jan. 19. View the contest winners. "Quality of Life" Survey The City is inviting residents to participate in the City's biennial Quality of Life Survey through Friday, Jan. 29. The data is designed to provide a baseline of how city government is serving residents, to gauge perceptions of Eden Prairie and make comparisons with peer cities in Minnesota and across the nation. A random and scientific sample of 2,000 Eden Prairie households have received invitations to participate in the survey over the past several weeks. Now the City is inviting residents who have not yet participated to take the survey online. Results from the online opt-in survey will be weighted and analyzed separately from the scientific sample group. Click here to participate in the online survey. Reserve online and pick-up curbside, Tuesday, Jan. 19, from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. or 4–6 p.m. at the Art Center.
