SAN JOSE, CA — Authorities have launched a manhunt for a suspect who fired on officers early Friday morning in San Jose, police said. The officers were fired on by the suspect after responding at around 4:25 a.m. to the multiple reports of a man firing a gun at the corner of Lynette and Duffy ways according to police. No injuries have been reported. Units are currently at the scene of a shooting incident in the area of Lynette Wy and Duffy Wy. Officers responded to multiple callers reporting a male suspect firing a gun near that corner. When they arrived the suspect shot at them. No injuries to report. A perimeter has been set up in the area and a section of S. King Road and San Antonio Street has also been closed too. "Expect heavy presence in the area as we continue this investigation," police said in a statement.
