NORTHPORT, AL — A Northport man is behind bars and charged with possession of child pornography following a search warrant carried out at a residence in the 15000 block of Northwind Drive on Thursday. You can also support local journalism by donating as little as $5 a month to become a supporting member or by downloading our free Patch mobile app. Investigators with the West Alabama Human Trafficking Task Force, the Alabama Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the 24th Judicial Circuit's District Attorney's Office conducted the search warrant and charged 18-year-old Garrett Hunter Allen with five counts of possession of obscene matter depicting someone younger than 17.
