Our clay studio has memberships available and the studio has recently expanded and now features double the space.
The studio is for artists, and non-artists interested in ceramics, of all experience levels. The studio can be accessed 24/7 via a coded entry door. There are no separate firing fees.
The monthly fee is 150.00. This includes a shelf for personal items, temporary storage space for in-progress work, and firing. It does not cover materials, however there are several studio glazes that are made and used by the community.
The studio has been configured for physical distancing. Use of a Google calendar to help members know popular days and times if they wish to avoid other members. HEPA air filtration, exhaust fans, and a garage door which can be opened.
The studio is located a few blocks from the Hoboken path station, an easy connection in lower Manhattan via various subway lines to wtc path, or from Brooklyn via the L to the 14th Street path station. There is also light rail, nj transit, and ferry nearby. There is a bus station at the building. The studio also has free parking for members on-site.
