Hey, my name is "Rusty". I'm a happy guy that lives with my foster mom who is allergic to me so I'm looking for a person or family to share a home with permanently. I was born about 2 years ago in a yard in my neighborhood and grew up feral (wild) with 2 brothers. My foster mom is a retired vet tech. She finally caught me a few months ago and I got neutered, got rid of any worms, got shots, and treated for an eye infection and asthma. That was a lot of stuff going on! But now I feel REALLY GOOD and I love to play with my catnip mouse and scurry around the house when the mood strikes me!! Lately, I've been learning how to live in a house all the time. Wow, it's really NICE inside! Who knew? I get dinner served to me and breakfast too! I've learned to use a litter box ( much better than digging in the ground) and I have a cardboard box with a soft towel for my very own bed. I'm pretty cute, according to my foster mom. I like to get petted and I roll over to get my tummy petted like a dog. No, I'm not having an identity crisis. I'm a cat from pink nose to bright orange striped tail. Actually, I'm pretty much orange all over (except a tiny place by my mouth). That's why my name is Rusty. Lol. If you would like me to come and brighten up your life from now on, please contact my foster mom. She says I need to be a 100% indoor cat and I LOVE that idea! I come with a supply of my asthma medicine that I get put in my food once every other day. I have a written prescription for refills too. Simple. My foster mom would like $15 to help with part of the vet cost to get me ready to live with you. Thanks! One other requirement, you MUST HAVE CAT TREATS! YUM… Catnip wouldn't hurt either. Just sayin'...
