Found Bird Dog I need help finding this dogs owner. He has been on the run since November......... saw a bird dog with a pit running in the pasture. 3 weeks later I see the bird dog again but no pit. By now he looked quite skinny so I tried to get him to come to me but he wouldn't just ran away again. 1 week later my husband says there is a dog at the door. Yep you know who it was. But this time his Tail wagging let me in. I brought him strait in gave him food and a bath. My heart sinks every time someone dumps animals in the country. In this case with him being a bird dog I didn't know if he just got away from his owner while hunting. I have checked my nearest neighbors, social media, called the pound, took him to the vet to check for chip. Nothing! He had no color or marks of one. I gave him a blue color. One week later on a Christmas night he disappeared. I was in high hopes that he made his owner happy by coming home on x-mas. He came back skinny Jan 13. I left him out and didn't feed him to see if he would go home. Two days and nope he is still hear on the porch. Its to cold to be out so I let him in this morning and gave him food. If you know anyone who has lost their bird dog please let me know. Or if your dog came home with a new blue color and is now missing please let me know. He needs to find his home.
