Description

This class will be held Monday and Wednesday at the main Southwest Tech campus in Cedar City. In How to Start a Business, attendees will learn how to choose what type of business entity to form depending on the type of business, the different entities they would need to register with, and how to register for each of those. Attendees will also learn how to obtain an EIN, sign up for withholding, sales tax, unemployment insurance, workers compensation insurance, liability insurance, getting a bank account, and what forms would need to be filed each quarter and year. The class will be held over two days with 2-hours of class time per day. Instructor: Caroline Brown
