PHILADELPHIA — A member of the Philadelphia Police Department has been charged with vandalism-related crimes and will be fired from the force. According to police, Officer Ryan Perez, 30, was arrested Wednesday following an Internal Affairs Division investigation. Perez's charges stem from a Dec. 7, 2019 incident, police said. Details on the incident were not made available. Perez has been charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, one count of public drunkenness, and one count of criminal mischief. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw has suspended Perez for 30 days with the intent to dismiss at the end of the 30 days. Perez is a five-year veteran of the force.
