Men Steal $42K Car In Darien: Cops

DARIEN, IL — A car was stolen Jan. 4 in the 1200 block of Chapman Court, apparently by three men who were seen on video, according to a police news release. The victim said the video showed three men being dropped off, walking up the driveway and checking three cars to see whether they were unlocked, police said. The men were last seen in the stolen car going west on Chapman. The total loss was estimated at $42,000. Police said it was unknown whether the car was locked or the keys were inside.
