Lead singer needed for established band

We are looking for an experienced lead singer to front our established tribute band. Maybe you are in a classic rock band looking for a change. Maybe you are tired of playing until all hours of the night and walking with $50. Maybe you are just looking for a change in the people you are currently playing with. The great thing about most tribute bands is that they play bigger and better venues for more pay and with bigger crowds. Our focus is on performing at fairs, casinos, festivals and corporate events. We have performed at the Orange, San Diego and San Bernardino County fairs. We have also performed at the Coach House many times and at various events around the state and including Nevada so there will be some travel involved. We have performed at Fantasy Springs Casino several times our most recent event was this past August. We played at the Mammoth Music festival 5 years in a row. There are many more events we have performed at so these are just a few. In general we are not a bar band though we do play bars on occasion so no need to respond if you are looking for a bar band. We need someone that can portray Ronnie Van Zant. While he had his own unique style, you don't have to be Steve Perry, Steven Tyler, Axl Rose or Robert Plant to sing like Ronnie. Ronnie had a much lower verse than those singers and he was not a screamer. Go to you tube and watch videos of him and see if your voice is a match with his. If you like songs such as Sweet home Alabama, Gimme three steps, Call me the breeze, What's your name, Freebird and so on then you are who we are looking for. We want someone that really loves the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd like we do so if you aren't a big fan of their music please don't respond to our ad there is no sense in wasting your time or ours. We know there is someone out there that can do this and wants to do this. It's a challenge we know so if you are up to the challenge please respond to our ad.
