Description
Researchers at the University of Pittsburgh are studying the relationships between your brain and your heart health.
You may be eligible if you:
1) are between 28 to 56 years of age
2) Are not taking prescription medications for hypertension or heart problems
Eligible participants will be asked to complete questionnaires, undergo brain imaging, provide blood samples, and have their heart and lung health assessed.
The entire study will involve two parts. The first part would involve 5 visits to the University of Pittsburgh Campus in Oakland. The second part would involve another 3 visits taking place approximately 2-3 years later.
Participants completing the study will receive $200 at the end of the first 5 visits and then another $200 after the last 3 visits.
Participants may also receive a $50 bonus for completing all components of data collection after the first 5 visits, and another $50 for the last 3 visits.
