Night Sky Photography and Sunrise Workshop
WE ARE BACK! Join us as we take on our favorite location to start off the Milky Way season. Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 from 5:00am until 7:00am at Coast Beach in Eastham, MA. We will meet quickly in the parking for a quick breakdown, from there set off down to the beach to capture the night sky. The 74% Waxing Gibbous will have had set at 2:39am, giving us optimally dark skies to capture just 15-minutes (5:16am to 5:33am) of the galactic center before the daylight begins to creep in on us.
Here's what you'll need:
- Camera Body (Capable of Manual Mode)
- Lens
- Tripod
- Remote/Intervalometer (Optional)
- Headlamp (w/Red Selection)
- Warm Clothes (Coats, Gloves, Hats, Thermals)
Optional Items:
- Trackers
- Filters (Light Pollution and More)
Lastly, what we can not plan for is how the weather is going to play out. The best we can do is keep a close eye and share the updates as they come in. If the event is completely rain/snowed out, we will attempt the Friday (Jan. 22nd) before the event. If the event is completely cancelled due to inclement weather, your credit can be carried over to any future workshops.
