Join the Arlington-based Mystic Chorale this winter and enjoy a gospel season like none other.
Led by Music Director Jonathan Singleton, at right, singers will learn gospel songs, including "Walk in the Light"; "Halle, Halle, Hallelujah"; and "Coming Out of the Dark."
In addition, singers will participate in singalongs, enjoy presentations by guest artists, including jazz and gospel singer and Berklee voice professor Nichelle Mungo and Mystic favorite Athene Wilson. There will also be time devoted to developing vocal techniques and learning about the background and history of the gospel tradition.
The season runs for eight Tuesdays on Zoom from 7 to 8:30 p.m., beginning Jan. 12.
On Feb. 27 at 7:30 p.m., the chorus will celebrate with a fun evening of live music and the the premiere of the video made over eight weeks.
Bring a bit of extra light to your long winter days, and join Mystic Gospel 2021 today. Check mysticchorale.org for more details and to sign up.
