COOKSVILLE, MD — The Howard County Library System has been notified that an employee at its Glenwood Branch tested positive for COVID-19. The Howard County Department of Health is conducting contact tracing. HCLS branches are open only for contactless pickup of materials and members of the public have not been in physical contact with staff.
HCLS staff wear masks at all times, maintain physical distancing and wash hands frequently, library officials noted. The Glenwood Branch will be closed through Saturday and reopen Tuesday. HCLS is closed on Sundays and will be closed on Monday for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
