NEW HAVEN, CT — Police have identified two people who were killed in a double homicide at a house at Winthrop and Chapel Street in New Haven, according to The New Haven Register. Alfreda Youmans, 50, and Jeffery Dotson, 42, were killed in the shooting. This wasn't the first time tragedy struck for Youmans. Her 9-year-old cousin was shot in 2009 at a home a few blocks away and survived the incident, according to The New Haven Register. The deaths of Youmans and Dotson mark the first homicides of the year in the New Haven.
