Please see the details below. - The Luminal Theater is partnering with the 2021 Sundance Film Festival to represent Columbia, South Carolina as one of their Satellite Screens from January 28th to February 3, 2021. Centering the aesthetics, values, and needs of the Carolinas, we are presenting local events with South Carolina and North Carolina partners, sharing local cultural conversations with broader Festival audiences, and of course these screen selections from the 2021 program. Covid 19 theater guidelines: Please arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime as full Covid-19 social distancing regulations will be enforced. All audience members will be temperature tested upon entering the theater lobby by our certified Covid compliance officer and asked for contact information for contact tracing purposes only; you will then be provided with CDC-approved masks to wear and have the option of wearing provided gloves. Wearing of these approved masks is not negotiable for being an audience member at these screenings. Upon entering the theater for the screening, a volunteer will help you to your assigned seat, ensuring that all audience members are separated by approved distances and kept as safe as possible.
