MURRIETA, WILDOMAR — In-restaurant dining is shut down amid coronavirus restrictions but eateries are open for takeout — so with Restaurant Week starting this weekend, efforts are underway to support local establishments.
In partnership with the cities of Murrieta and Wildomar, the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating the annual Restaurant Week, January 17-24. It's a campaign to show support and patronage to restaurants at a time when they are hard-hit, especially amid the pandemic and after the holidays.
Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce President CEO Patrick Ellis said the two cities have an abundance of great eateries.
"We want to encourage every resident to take a couple of nights off from cooking and discovera new restaurant or go back to an old favorite during Restaurant Week," he said.
