LIVERMORE, CA — A beloved, family-owned retail store in Livermore is getting ready to close its doors for good after more than 50 years in business. Dom's Outdoor Outfitters will permanently shut down on April 30. "Between the pandemic, lack of goods from manufacturers and a competitive online market, we had to close our doors," Emily Saccullo, the granddaughter of store founder, Dominick Saccullo, told Patch. Like many businesses throughout the country, the coronavirus pandemic has hit many "mom and pop" stores hard - Dom's has been no different. Emily's parents, Jodie and Jeff Saccullo, are the store's current owners. Founded in 1970, Dom's Outdoor Outfitters has provided a wide variety of competitively priced outdoor products to the community for decades. On Thursday, Jan. 13, the store will kick off its final liquidation sale before closing. "For anyone who has shopped at our business over the past 51 years, we are truly grateful for your support from the bottom of our hearts!" Dom's Outdoor Outfitters is located at 1870 First St. in Livermore.
