Press release from the Deerfield Park District: We are currently accepting applications for the Deerfield Park District Recreation, Pool and Golf Citizen Advisory Committees. Committee Purpose – The Committees serve in an advisory capacity to the Board of Park Commissioners. Members meet alongside staff and a park board commissioner to study and review the operational components of the Sachs Recreation Center, Mitchell and Deerspring Pools or the Deerfield Golf Club & Learning Center and make recommendations to the Park Board based on their findings and research. Committee members are appointed to 3-year terms and meet four times a year. RECREATION CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPLICATION pool ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPLICATION GOLF ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPLICATIOn Applications are also available at the Sachs Recreation Center and Jewett Park Community Center registration desk.
