Join For Our Future, Dream Defenders, and Tampa Bay for Change Volunteering at SLP for MLK Day of Service! Bring your mask, water, closed toe shoes and optionally you can bring a snack, gardening gloves, and anything else you may need while volunteering. We will be removing invasive plants, laying mulch, & mowing. We advise that participants wear comfortable, weather appropriate work clothes and closed toe shoes. In an effort to reduce single-use plastic, we do not provide bottled water, however, we do encourage volunteers to bring a reusable water bottle if they have one. Our address is 918 W Sligh Ave. Volunteers may park along the west side (Salvation Army side) of the property along the fence line in the alleyway.
