Wanted:BASS player in Latin,Straight Jazz, + Brazilian rhythms(read) (Fontana & Surrounding) ''I am looking for a bass player who is able to handle the styles mentioned below.''... To have a once a week rehearsal/jam at mid-day. I would prefer older or a retired player who is into music theory with full knowledge of chord structures and improvisation skills.My instruments are the Vibraphone and Piano. Its very rare to get gigs in this style these days, since rock & country music are most popular! Maybe getting a gig ''here and there''in some restaurant for a listening audience that likes Jazz tunes from the golden era of the 20's through the 80's.... Straight ahead Jazz, using rhythms of Bossa Nova, Swing, Ballads and Samba (A-must to know..) Thanks for reading.
